Whilst off duty, former police officer Daniel Wark, was driving when he saw a ute pull in front of him and then cut across a median strip.

Mr Wark followed the vehicle, indicating he wanted the occupants to pull over. When they did, he assaulted the driver.

His defence team, including Tony Cardillo and barrister Andrew Bright, successfully argued for a good behaviour bond.
