Cardillo Gray Partners successfully saw off a challenge in the Supreme Court by Employers Mutual Limited who asserted that a former officer who had commenced a private criminal prosecution against it had no jurisdiction.

An appeal was lodged in the Court of Appeal but later withdrawn by the insurer.
